We’re presently looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to help drive infrastructure, automation, and monitoring projects for medium to large enterprise clients across both AWS and Azure environments. This role requires a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment with experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, resilience and observability. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll play a critical role in developing and supporting reliable, scalable solutions for our clients’ evolving needs.
First and foremost you are a proactive problem-solver committed to system reliability and resilience. You will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of scalable infrastructure solutions and be responsible for enhancing the capability of our web and mobile engineering teams through the effective use of CI/CD, automation, tooling and process improvement.
You will be working closely with our business and solutions teams to create best-in-breed systems that are robust, secure and scalable, helping to shape solutions across a wide variety of industries and domains. You will also play a pivotal role in enabling our teams and clients to do their work better; creating secure services, processes and monitoring solutions that provide actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS or Azure certifications
Preferred Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles
* Proficiency in either AWS and Azure (both is a plus but a commitment to learn is more important to us), with a strong understanding of key services/concepts (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Functions)
* Automation & Scripting: Advanced scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
* CI/CD Tools: Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
* Monitoring & Observability: Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools, with hands-on experience in setting up systems for high observability

Remote & hybrid working - This position can be largely remote but our engineering team members do come into our Nottingham office for one day per month, mainly as a team building exercise. We have a core of staff (engineers and non-engineers) who choose to work from the office more frequently, so you can of course come in more than one day per month if you wish!
