We are currently looking for a Software Business Analyst to join our Client Services team. The successful individual will enjoy working on a variety of projects to bridge the gap between our clients, the end-users and our business by fully immersing themselves in the products we deliver. 

As a Business Analyst you will work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure our client’s business objectives, the user’s requirements and the end goals are fully understood and documented. You will work closely with cross-functional development teams, UI/UX designers and testers to deliver web and mobile solutions for our clients. You will also work closely with clients, end-users and other business stakeholders to ensure our solutions are fit-for-purpose.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

The skill set required to excel in this role is broad, with the right individual needing to demonstrate strong capabilities within the following areas:

  • Be able to become fully immersed in the products we deliver and the industries we work in to provide clear, actionable advice and recommendations to help our clients and teams overcome business challenges 

  • Use a variety of elicitation techniques including user research, workshops, discovery sessions and product insights, to identify problems and articulate opportunities which will provide business benefit

  • Assist Product Owners in the roadmap and backlog prioritisation by identifying, articulating and communicating the value of the features we will be delivering

  • Be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their business objectives and requirements

  • Be responsible for user testing and feedback and be able to analyse the findings to support the development of the roadmap

  • Use insights and analysis techniques to effectively break high-level requirements down into deliverables based on the business value they will deliver

 

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Experienced in the delivery and planning of digital technologies and products

  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to to communicate effectively to clients, stakeholders and end-users

  • Experience in conducting and facilitating workshops and discovery sessions with the aim of identifying the project and business objectives, the high-level requirements, and expected outcomes

  • Skilled in conducting user interviews and research to gather enough information to generate ideas, validate hypotheses and uncover opportunities

  • Proficient at identifying and capturing acceptance criteria and testing criteria

  • Experience working with Product Owners and Project Managers to prioritise the backlog and identify critical deliverables necessary to delivering a Minimum Viable Product

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects and priorities with deadlines and time pressures
